The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because it does require quite a bit of effort to remove all of the base coat, so not quite as simple as the description suggests - push loose product and wash hands! But all in all a good product and worth the money if, like me, you’re impatient and can’t be doing with the faff of using the gel nail soak and having fingers wrapped in foil for half an hour! Bought this in the last lockdown as my salon could no longer have you in the salon long enough to remove nails and do a new set so had to remove them at home before appointment. Looked so promising in the video but was actually a complete lie. Bottle seemed half empty, product was thick and very difficult to get out and onto your nail. Once I got enough out onto my nails and waited...and waited...checked them...waited some more...and some more...45 mins later and absolutely nothing had happened. By 1hr10mins my gel had started to lift slightly at the cuticles but no melting the gel of ANY sort. I then gave up and reverted back to my acetone. It's not exactly cheap either, especially to have absolutely no effect at all. I'll add, I have lots of mylee products including uv lamp set for when I do my own nails and like their products generally. But do not waste your money on this! I'd give it no stars if I could. I would recommend putting the gel remover on (which is good because it is thick and you just paint it onto your gel nails) I leave it on for 6 mins scrape what is peeling off and then repeat the same process and that's it completely off. This is going through base coat, 2/3 layers and then a top coat. Such a great product and not messy at all. Lese weniger

You don’t have to sit there with foils or plastic caps with acetone dripping down your fingers, you can also type, surf the web as the tips of your fingers are not covered .. the gel just covers your finger nails and it is thick so it doesn’t run everywhere.I would however say that it needs longer than six minutes ... I have found 15 - 20 minutes is more realistic it really loosens the varnish, this is with one base coat, 3 layers of colour and a top coat, also with the gel surface really roughened and over the top of builder gel would take longer and you would possibly need to reapply. This gel was so difficult to get out of the bottle! I had to shake it each time I needed to get enough on the brush to coat a nail! I waited the 6 minutes and it was no where near enough time for it to work. I ended up using a couple of coats of the product to remove my base coat, 2 coats of gel and a top coat. This took just as long as using foil and cotton wool. I was so fed up at the end and I will be going back permanently to the old way….. very disappointed as I love my Mylee products Lese weniger

Really thick formula, it reminded me of vaseline. Now, this product worked for me in some ways, but during removal there was still some bits of my gel that were stuck and I had to pry it off. This resulted in losing some layers of my nail on both my hands and feet. The loss of some nail plate is my fault as I could of applied more product and waited again but I didn't! Because it didn't break down all the gel it ended up taking more time to remove my gel than the traditional way. Whilst the standard Mylee remover lifts the gel straight off for me personally, with this stuff, even the bits that had lifted had to pushed off with a manicure stick. The gel came off in little bits which made for a messier removal. Honestly I don't think I will purchase again. Think I will stick with the traditional way and the normal Mylee remover as this works an absolute treat and breaks down all my gel no prying necessary. Also, not sure how many removals you would get with this. Bought this in the last lockdown as my salon could no longer have you in the salon long enough to remove nails and do a new set so had to remove them at home before appointment. Looked so promising in the video but was actually a complete lie. Bottle seemed half empty, product was thick and very difficult to get out and onto your nail. Once I got enough out onto my nails and waited...and waited...checked them...waited some more...and some more...45 mins later and absolutely nothing had happened. By 1hr10mins my gel had started to lift slightly at the cuticles but no melting the gel of ANY sort. I then gave up and reverted back to my acetone. It's not exactly cheap either, especially to have absolutely no effect at all. I'll add, I have lots of mylee products including uv lamp set for when I do my own nails and like their products generally. But do not waste your money on this! I'd give it no stars if I could. I would recommend putting the gel remover on (which is good because it is thick and you just paint it onto your gel nails) I leave it on for 6 mins scrape what is peeling off and then repeat the same process and that's it completely off. You don’t have to sit there with foils or plastic caps with acetone dripping down your fingers, you can also type, surf the web as the tips of your fingers are not covered .. the gel just covers your finger nails and it is thick so it doesn’t run everywhere.I would however say that it needs longer than six minutes ... I have found 15 - 20 minutes is more realistic it really loosens the varnish, this is with one base coat, 3 layers of colour and a top coat, also with the gel surface really roughened and over the top of builder gel would take longer and you would possibly need to reapply. This gel was so difficult to get out of the bottle! I had to shake it each time I needed to get enough on the brush to coat a nail! I waited the 6 minutes and it was no where near enough time for it to work. I ended up using a couple of coats of the product to remove my base coat, 2 coats of gel and a top coat. This took just as long as using foil and cotton wool. I was so fed up at the end and I will be going back permanently to the old way….. very disappointed as I love my Mylee products Lese weniger

The few times I have used this I had to apply it multiple times to remove the colour polish fully, but it still left some of the base behind, so I ended up using the wrap method to remove the rest. Really thick formula, it reminded me of vaseline. Now, this product worked for me in some ways, but during removal there was still some bits of my gel that were stuck and I had to pry it off. This resulted in losing some layers of my nail on both my hands and feet. The loss of some nail plate is my fault as I could of applied more product and waited again but I didn't! Because it didn't break down all the gel it ended up taking more time to remove my gel than the traditional way. Whilst the standard Mylee remover lifts the gel straight off for me personally, with this stuff, even the bits that had lifted had to pushed off with a manicure stick. The gel came off in little bits which made for a messier removal. Honestly I don't think I will purchase again. Think I will stick with the traditional way and the normal Mylee remover as this works an absolute treat and breaks down all my gel no prying necessary. Also, not sure how many removals you would get with this. The remover has more product than the gel polish bottles, but the amount of product needed compared to the amount in the bottle makes me think you won't get many removals from it. I think the traditional Mylee remover will deliver more removals which equals better value for money in my opinion. Lese weniger
